Follows rules and routines
Helping your child learn how to follow rules and routines can take time and patience, but children usually feel a sense of accomplishment when they can do things independently. Let your child know that you believe in his ability to accomplish tasks, and try to provide encouragement. Rules and routines must be taught and practiced until children feel comfortable doing them on their own. Help your child practice rules and routines, and ask him for suggestions about how the rules or routines could be changed for the better.
