Uses senses

Sensory development is an important part of the learning process. Children need to explore their surroundings and make meaningful connections using all senses – sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound. They learn about the world by interacting with materials that stimulate all five senses. Sensory development is supported through active questioning and discussion about the child’s observations.
